What I'm Listening To with Pressure

Swedish story-metal band Pressure have been together since 2018.

You all know we love the Swedes on our show so we jumped at the chance to have a chat with Simon about what they're listening to and it's a corker!

What was the last song you listened to?

Our new and upcoming single “All the things” No one except for Pressure and the team around us has heard it yet but its going to be something extra.

Do you listen to your own songs when you’re driving or working out?

Yes I do. Not the released ones though. I have a playlist with our unreleased drafts which I listen to when I am working out or going somewhere. I find that when I am doing something else I get new ideas and inspiration for the already recorded songs sot its an important thing for me to do

You’re in a club or venue and one of your tracks comes on what do you do?

Screams and sings along. Perhaps dances at a table and let my positive energy spread to everyone around me.

What music most comes to mind when you think of growing up?

Classical music. My parents played a lot of classical pieces when I was growing up so I found my early childhood inspired by the old masters. I start to play early and I think this really inspired me as a musician.

What are you listening to at the moment that we should check out?

Check out Izzy von Scarecrow and the amazing Reaper

and video

What one song instantly makes you smile when you hear it?

I listen to our song Fem i Tre, its a very humoristic song, watch the video with English subtitles here

What is your guilty pleasure?

Whiskey, single malt! Give me a drink of that and Ill do anything for you.

What album do you always listen to all the way through?

I love to listen to albums. I have been called a dinosaur by my band mates /Simonsaur) but well, I just love to listen to albums, specially concept albums. One example is Sabatons Great War album.

What track would you like to cover?

I would not like to cover anything hahahaha. I have been working as a cover musician for many years so I have done all the covers. But I would like to play with a lot of the great guitarists and musician out there. And then I could do some covers perhaps but if I do it with the original musicians then it will be an original?

Thanks for chatting to us today!!
